XXIV Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdroj
On September 2-4, associate professors Igor Gretskiy and Eugeny Treshchenkov took part in proceedings of the XXIV Economic Forum in Krynica-Zdroj (Poland). The Forum was attended by about 3000 participants form more than 60 countries, including members of governments and parliaments of the Central and East European countries, members of the European Parliament, the State Duma and the Federation Council, as well as journalists, businessmen, researchers and experts. Among the most discussed issues at the Forum were prospects for global economic recovery, long-term investments in Europe energy sector, and the ongoing armed conflict in the Eastern Ukraine as a challenge to European security. Igor Gretskiy and Eugeny Treshchenkov participated in discussion panels on EU-Russia relations, prospects for regional integration projects, the Eastern Partnership and the Eurasian Economic Union.
