Global Employability University Ranking results: SPbU among the top 150 universities for delivering work-ready graduates

Global Employability University Ranking results are announced. The ranking is published by the Times Higher Education and measures how universities perform on graduate employability.

The ranking is created from the combined votes of two panels of participants: recruiters who have experience of hiring graduates and managing directors of international companies. Both panels include respondents from 20 countries, including Australia, Great Britain, Germany, China, Netherlands, USA, Japan and others

Votes are then aggregated into scores for each university to produce the ranking. Among many universities only the 150 best universities for delivering work-ready graduates are selected.

Like previous year, St Petersburg University has made it into the top 150 universities, which means high-quality education and compliance with the international employability standards.

The highest-ranked universities are California Institute of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.

The ranking has two Russian universities: St Petersburg University and Lomonosov Moscow University.

For reference:

St Petersburg University makes it in the top university rankings. In 2016, SPbU is the only Russian university in the world’s leading institutions, according to the Nature Index 2016 Rising Stars.

SPbU, two years in succession, has been among the top 100 world’s universities in the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings.

SPbU remains the only Russian university among the top 90 universities in “Master in Management” in the Business School ranking from the Financial Times. SPbU’s Graduate School of Management, ranked 60 in the Financial Times European Business School Ranking 2015, remains so far the only Russian business school among the top business schools in Europe.
