The XXIV Russian-American Seminar “70 years after war: lessons of the past and the future of Russian-American relations” will be held on 12-13 of May, 2015.
The inauguration ceremony of the XXIV Russian-American Seminar will be held on May 12th, 10 AM local time, at Saint Petersburg State University (1/3 Smolnogo st., Entrance 8).
The seminar will be conducted through a number of round tables, devoted to the past, present and future of Russian-American relations.
Besides, the seminar program includes a round table for young researchers, where they will be able to share their views upon the relationships between Russia and the USA.
Traditionally sessions of the Seminar have been attended by scholars from Russia, the United States and other countries,Russian and American diplomats, distinguished public officials and political leaders, as well as Russian and foreign undergraduate and graduate students.
The professors of Department of the American Studies of Saint-Petersburg State University - Akimov Yuri Germanovich, Lexiutina Yana Valerievna, Boguslavskaya Yuliya Konstantinovna, Fyodorov Nikolay Victorovich and the Department Chairman, the Professor of the Saint-Petersburg State University Shiryaev Boris Anatoliyevich will participate in the work of the seminar.
